What happens when you get a dental implant at Clubb Dental

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
ABOUT SINGLE-VISIT CROWNS

I get it—you hear “single-visit crown” and think, Wait… can something that fast actually be good?

It’s one of the top questions our patients ask, and I totally understand why!

So today, let’s tackle the three biggest questions about single-visit dental crowns and clear up any concerns you might have.

ARE SINGLE-VISIT CROWNS AS GOOD
AS TRADITIONAL CROWNS?

Short answer? YES! Long answer? Also yes, but let’s break it down.

Single-visit crowns, also known as CEREC crowns, are made from high-quality ceramic and custom-designed for your tooth right here at Clubb Dental.

Traditional crowns are often made from a mix of materials, like metal and porcelain, and require multiple appointments.

But thanks to advanced digital scanning and 3D milling technology, single-visit crowns fit just as well (if not better) than traditional ones!

Plus, no need for messy impressions or temporary crowns—your permanent crown is ready in just one visit.

HOW LONG DO THEY LAST?

This is a big question, and we’re happy to report that single-visit crowns have an excellent track record for durability.

With proper care (brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups), they can last 10–15 years or even longer!

Just like traditional crowns, their longevity depends on how well you take care of them.

So, if you’re a fan of chomping on ice cubes or using your teeth to open beer bottles (please don’t!) -
you might want to rethink those habits.

IS THE PROCEEDURE PAINFUL?

I know dental work isn’t exactly anyone’s idea of a fun time, but here’s the good news: getting a single-visit crown is no more uncomfortable than getting a traditional one.

We numb the area to ensure you’re comfortable, and since there’s no need for a temporary crown or a second appointment, there’s actually less discomfort overall.

Most of our patients are surprised by how easy the process is—and they love that they can walk out with their new crown the same day!

THE BOTTOM LINE

Single-visit crowns are a game-changer.

At Clubb Dental, we have been doing single-visit crowns for over 10 years.

They’re strong, long-lasting, and just as good (if not better!) than traditional crowns—without the hassle of multiple appointments.

If you need a crown and love the idea of getting it done in one visit, let’s chat!

We’d be happy to see if a same-day crown is the right choice for you.

Got more questions? Give us a call or book a consultation—we’re here to help keep your smile looking great!
